FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Who may attend: Astronomy Academics, Researchers, Postgraduate Students, Engineers, Technicians and all those who have a vested interest in Astronomy in South Africa

What is this about: This is an opportunity for the South African Astronomy Community to speak amongst themselves and to the NRF on matters related to Astronomy

Programme: Anyone is free to propose a Topic(s) and a corresponding Coordinator(s). Please send your proposals to Mrs Shereen Verwoerd by 30 April 2012. The final Programme will be released with the SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT by 31 May 2012.

How should you register: Please confirm your attendance by e-mailing Mrs Shereen Verwoerd indicating your name and affiliation. We need exact numbers both for seating arrangements and catering purposes please. Deadline for confirming your participation is 30 June 2012.

Costs: Attendance and participation is free. However, travel and/or accommodation costs are to be borne by the attendee.
