An article in News: South African scientists are playing major roles in laying out plans for the Square Kilometre Array’s (SKA) mammoth surveys of the skies.

The SKA will have thousands of satellite dishes in South Africa and Australia with the core of the telescope in the Northern Cape in South Africa. The telescope will scour the universe for information to give scientists more data on dark matter, black holes, energy particles and the formation of stars and galaxies. Read more
