Guinevere Kauffmann from Max Planck Institute of Astrophysics will be visiting the UWC physics department on Thursday, 9th February to give a seminar at 1PM . Guinevere studied astronomy at the University of Cape Town until 1990. She finished her Ph.D at the University of Cambridge
The UWC astrophysics group would like to welcome Dr Elodie Giovannoli as a new post-doc. Elodie obtained her Phd at the Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM) in France and her thesis centred around the study of IR data (e.g. Herschel, Akari and Spitzer) through the SED
